I spent a few bucks on some flour. Brown sugar. Chocolate chips. Then I spent significantly more dollars on priority mail shipping boxes and postage.
But it was money well spent when I sent little care packages to several friends. Two studying for the bar exam. Two as a thank you. One in a hand-me-down delivery. One as a joke. Cookies are always appropriate.
It didn’t take much time or much money to brighten someone’s day. Think about who might need a little care package in your life. Send a card. Send cookies. Just send something.
A little kindness can go a long way.
